WELCOME TO MY WORLD
Overview: My goal is to make each student a creative individual who uses their imagination and skills of the elements to communicate a visual form.
As an art teacher, I strive to provide my students with fun and educational experiences where each student can be creative, thoughtful and confident. My classroom offers a positive atmosphere that encourages uniqueness and imagination.
Have Fun! That is what ART is all about. I want to make this a learning experience that will allow you the student to develop the skills and desire to continue making art for the rest of your life.
CLASSROOM PROCEDURESENTERING CLASSROOM – ALWAYS COME TO CLASS READY TO LEARN. You have to pass all classes to participate in U.I.L. events (this includes sports).
NAME ON WORK – Heading on papers should include name, date and class period on the top left corner. All artwork should include the same information on the back bottom left corner.
SUPPLIES– Students are responsible for returning supplies to the correct location and cleaning up their work surface at the end of class. When you are finished cleaning (table, floor area and supplies) return to your seat. Clean up should not begin any earlier than five minutes before the bell rings.
CLASS DISMISSAL – I will dismiss the class – the bell does not dismiss you. You will stay in your seat until I dismiss you. NO DOOR HANGING!
