    Dear Cowboy Family,
Your voice matters! We need to hear what's working for you and what you need. Edna ISD will send monthly text messages and emails with a few simple questions asking for feedback on your experience with school. You will receive these messages from POSSIP, an organization we have partnered with to learn your needs.  Thank you!

    SCHOOL SAFETY

In the event of any type of emergency, communication is ESSENTIAL. Be sure to keep your contact information UP-TO-DATE with the school district to receive mass notifications such as texts, emails, or phone calls. Download the Edna ISD app to receive push notifications and access important information. Edna ISD will use #SAFEcowboy on district social media to inform students, parents, staff, and community about important school safety information.

Should an emergency evacuation of any campus occur, Edna ISD has an established REUNIFICATION PLAN. The Reunification Plan will ONLY be implemented in cases when it is necessary to evacuate a campus(es) due to a threat or emergency situation.  The district will make every effort to communicate promptly through a variety of communication outlets.  It's imperative that parents report to the designated Reunification Site and NOT drive to the campuses as this will only hinder First Responders.
