SCHOOL SAFETYIn the event of any type of emergency, communication is ESSENTIAL. Be sure to keep your contact information UP-TO-DATE with the school district to receive mass notifications such as texts, emails, or phone calls. Download the Edna ISD app to receive push notifications and access important information. Edna ISD will use #SAFEcowboy on district social media to inform students, parents, staff, and community about important school safety information.
Should an emergency evacuation of any campus occur, Edna ISD has an established REUNIFICATION PLAN. The Reunification Plan will ONLY be implemented in cases when it is necessary to evacuate a campus(es) due to a threat or emergency situation. The district will make every effort to communicate promptly through a variety of communication outlets. It's imperative that parents report to the designated Reunification Site and NOT drive to the campuses as this will only hinder First Responders.Parent Information on Standard Reunification Method
