Complaints & Grievances

In an effort to hear and resolve student and parent concerns or complaints in a timely manner and at the lowest administrative level possible, the board has adopted an orderly grievance process. Students and parents are encouraged to discuss their concerns or complaints with their teacher, coach, or campus administrator at any time.

The formal process provides all students and parents with an opportunity to be heard up to the highest level of management if they are dissatisfied with an administrative response. Once all administrative procedures are exhausted, students and parents can bring concerns or complaints to the board of trustees. Grievance packets may be signed out from Assistant Superintendent, Madalyn Maresh, at the Edna ISD Administration office located at 601 N. Wells St. in Edna.
