Celebrating a New Culinary Arts Space at Edna High School!
We're excited to announce that Edna High School’s new Culinary Arts facility is officially open and ready to inspire our next generation of chefs, bakers, and culinary professionals! This state-of-the-art space is more than just a classroom; it’s a launching pad for our students to dive into the world of culinary arts with hands-on experience and industry-grade tools.
The facility, designed to foster creativity and skill development, is equipped with everything from professional ranges and ovens to precision knives and quality cookware. Here, students will have the chance to refine their culinary techniques, learn about food safety, and gain valuable experience in a real-world environment that mirrors the demands of the professional culinary industry.
A Special Thank You to Bill Hobson
This incredible addition to Edna High School would not have been possible without the generosity and vision of Bill Hobson. His support has helped transform this space into a fully-equipped kitchen and classroom that will provide students with opportunities to thrive and succeed in the culinary field. We extend our deepest gratitude to him for his dedication to the future of Edna ISD and his commitment to helping students build essential life skills.
Take a look at some photos of our talented students in action as they explore their new culinary space. Their excitement and passion are palpable, and we’re eager to see the delicious creations and accomplishments that will come out of this program in the years to come.
Thank you once again to Bill Hobson and everyone involved in making this dream a reality for our students!
