Following the election, the Board convenes to elect a President, Vice-President, and Secretary from among its members, each of whom serves a one-year term in that office.
The next Board of Trustees election is scheduled for May 2, 2026, with Place 5 and Place 7 up for election.
The Filing Period For A Place On the May 2, 2026, ballot is Wednesday, January 14, 2026, through Friday, February 13, 2026. Applications will be available during this time at the Edna ISD Administration Office.
