Cowboy Family — due to an official shortage, Thursday’s **7th Grade, 8th Grade, and JV games have been moved to Cobra Field in Vanderbilt** and will follow a rolling schedule.

🏈 7th Grade — 4:30 PM
🏈 8th Grade — Following 7th
🏈 JV — Following 8th

The **Freshman Cowboys will still travel to El Campo** for their scheduled game.

The Edna ISD Board of Trustees met for its regular monthly meeting on Monday, August 17.

Campus principals shared updates on the first day of school, and the Board also received updates on fall athletics and district business.

There was a moment of silence after the pledges for the East Bernard School District & Community.

During the meeting, the Board approved several important items, including:
⭐ The 2026–2027 District Improvement Plan
⭐ Changes to the 2026–2027 Extra Duty Stipend Schedule
⭐ The 2026–2027 Edna ISD Budget
⭐ The 2026–2027 Tax Rate Resolution
⭐ Repairs to the Edna High School chiller and the associated budget amendment

We appreciate our Board of Trustees, administrators, staff, and community members for their continued commitment to Edna ISD and the success of our students.
